What’s the difference between On-Body and Off-Body Hooping?
On-body hooping is what most people picture first: spinning the hoop continuously on the waist.
It can also travel to the hips, chest, shoulders, legs, and knees for a full-body dance workout.
For adults, body hooping is easiest to learn with larger, heavier hoops, which move more slowly and stay up longer. Our Adult Beginner Body Hoop is the perfect size and weight for adults to learn on.
Off-body hooping is a modern style of dance and moving meditation.
