Build Time & Shipping

GeoRev hoops are handcrafted in Canada, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. That means your hoop is made with care, intention, and attention to detail. It also means build times vary slightly depending on what you order.

Here’s what to expect in general:

Build Time

Ready-to-Ship Hoops (Usually within 48 hours)

Some hoops are kept pre-made in our shop and typically ship within 48 hours:

• Untaped Beginner Adult Body Hoops

• Untaped Kids Play Hoops

• Ready to Ship Sale Hoops (limited availability)

These are our fastest-moving items and are often on their way within a day or two.

Made-to-Order Hoops (Typically 3–10 days)

Most GeoRev hoops are made to order and usually ship within 3 to 7 business days, including:

• Custom polypro hoops

• Coloured polypro hoops

• Sectional hoops

• Taped hoops

Even custom tape jobs are often completed within this window.

Specialty & Performance Orders (May take longer)

Some orders take additional time due to their complexity, including:

• Performance hoop sets

• Fully taped fire hoop sets

These require extra build time and quality checks. If your order falls into this category, rest assured it’s because we’re taking the time to do it properly.

A Note About Our Shop

GeoRev Hooping is a small, highly specialized workshop. Caroline, the owner and master hoopsmith, also works a full-time career in social work. This allows GeoRev to remain independent, sustainable, and deeply values-driven, but it can occasionally affect build timelines. High order volume and supply chain logistics can also affect build times. We will reach out to you by email if your order is taking longer than we anticipated.

Many thousands of hoops have shipped from this shop over the years, and orders move consistently and reliably. Your hoop is coming.

All orders ship via Canada Post Expedited and are insured.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information by email.

Typical Delivery Times (Shipping from Calgary)

Delivery times vary by location, but most customers can expect:

• Southern Alberta, Vancouver, Saskatoon/Regina, Greater Toronto Area: 2–3 business days

• Most of Ontario: around 5 business days

• Remote or outlying regions (Vancouver Island, PEI, Northern communities): 5-10 business days

These are estimates, not guarantees, and are handled entirely by Canada Post once your package is in their system.

Tracking & Patience (Important)

After you receive your tracking number, please allow up to 48 hours for Canada Post’s system to update. It’s very common for tracking to appear inactive at first.

Once a package is moving, delays are almost always resolved by waiting. In thousands of shipments, only a handful have ever gone temporarily missing, and every single GeoRev customer has ultimately received their hoop.

If something truly unusual happens, we’ll help you navigate it.
