These hoops are designed for use by adults with little to no experience hula hooping and those who wish for a fun and low impact way to work out. It’s perfect for dance hooping around the waist, and working out the core. This hoop is also very good for learning to chest hoop and knee hoop. Put your favorite music on, use this hoop on your core in both directions, and you're sure to work up a sweat!
Unlike other big beginner hoops, which are often made with the heavier and stiffer black Polyethylene tubing, the Big Blue Body Hoop is made with Canadian sourced 1” HDPE. This is the tubing endorsed for body hooping by Canadian Fitness Education Services. Hoops made from this tubing are accessible to everyone. If you think you can’t do it, you probably just need a larger hoop!
We put a special kind of premium grip tape, 3M Grip, on the inside of this hoop to help it stay on your body. This stuff has thousands upon thousands of tiny silicone fingers that make a big difference in body hooping. 3M Grip is expensive so you won’t see it on beginner hoops in other hoop shops. We think it’s essential and want you to have the best experience. Why get frustrated trying to keep a slippery hoop up, when this exists?
This hoop can also be decorated with gorgeous shiny tape, and we have a massive selection of colours for you to choose from!
